Youth violence is a complex issue and no one sector or institution has the solution alone. Many experts have called for the public health approach, meaning a multi-agency, co-ordinated and long-term response. Collaboration and partnership sit at the heart of building trust and changing the lives of young people at risk.
The Best Collaborator Award is looking for the organisation which can demonstrate an enduring approach to achieving its impact by working with others. This is not about one single partnership or collaboration, but how working together is part of your organisation’s DNA. Some partnerships might be predictable, others are actively sought out because of how your organisation thinks about having real impact.
