Governance and Operations Manager

Nicola joined The London Community Foundation team from National Savings and Investments and has had many years of experience in the financial industry, primarily as an Executive Assistant and in Human Resources.

Role

Nicola is the Governance and Operations Manager at The London Community Foundation. This is a varied role that includes all aspects of our governance, supporting our Board of Trustees, providing diary management and administration for our CEO and helping to ensure the smooth running of our Operations team.

Nicola is a big advocate for planning and organisation and enjoys these aspects within her role. She is a strong believer in the importance of local, grassroots charities and loves that The London Community Foundation works with such a wide range of these organisations, tackling a variety of social issues.

We love London

Nicola has always lived in London, growing up in West London before moving to South London. She loves the diversity of the city – the experiences on offer from different cultures and the food too. Nicola really appreciates that London has become so much more open, accepting and welcoming in recent years.

Nicola has her own baking business and says she finds baking very therapeutic – and we certainly benefit when samples of her baked goodies appear in the office!
