Head of Development

Harbi is enthusiastic about organisational growth, people, and supporting organisations by creating diverse income streams. Harbi has a vast knowledge of supporting companies and donors in achieving their social impact goals. Harbi has spent time working in East Africa, implementing projects on journalism and entrepreneurship.

Harbi joins us from Refugee Action, where he led the development and strategic planning of their corporate income and partnerships. Harbi is passionate about having a strong and diverse civil society tackling the capital’s disadvantages.

Role

Harbi is LCF’s Head of Development, which means he is responsible for securing new income for LCF alongside engaging with our existing donors to help them give more effectively in London.

His favourite things about London are the people, food, and theatre. Harbi would highly recommend Kiln Theatre, based in Kilburn; it’s small but mighty. His favourite cuisine is Korean, and he believes we should smile more because we live in a great city.
