Philanthropic Grants Manager

Bhakti has extensive experience of the charitable sector, having worked in grant making, fundraising and frontline service delivery. She joined the team from The Prince's Trust, having also worked for Comic Relief and the Paul Hammond Foundation.

Role

Bhakti is the Philanthropic Grants Manager at The London Community Foundation. It's a varied role that includes working with out donors and partners to establish and develop funds, making recommendations to donors on the best projects to fund and supporting groups through every stage of their applications.

Bhakti has spent much of her career working on behalf of young people as well as women and girls. She has a passion for seeing fairness and justice in society and also really enjoys working with different grassroots organisations to strengthen them through skills, capacity building and resilience.

Bhakti has lived in London all her life and loves how there's always something going on - you're never too far from anything you might want to do or experience. She loves that there's always a new coffee shop to be discovered, loads of places to hear live music and green spaces around nearly every corner.
