Lambeth Council is a longstanding partner of LCF, and a key founding donor of the Lambeth Community Fund. In 2008 they transferred the trusteeship of the £1.3 million Pedlar’s Acre Trust to LCF, establishing a permanent source of funding for charities working with Lambeth residents.

Over the years Lambeth Council has donated money for programmes supporting health and wellbeing, local festivals, employability programmes, and community-led initiatives. The Lambeth Community Fund endowments now stand at over £5.5 million. So far it has awarded nearly £2.5 million in grants.
