External Grant Assessor (VAWG)

  • Location: Home based
  • Term: Up to six weeks, from 23 November 2026 (flexible due to holiday period), and up to half a day’s training week commencing 16 November 2026
  • Pay: £250 day rate

The London Community Foundation (LCF) is delivering third round The London Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime’s (MOPAC) £6m Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) Grassroots Fund.

We are seeking experienced External Grants Assessors with specialist knowledge of work addressing Violence Against Women and Girls to assess applications for grants up to £160,000, to be delivered over a three-year period. Applicants must have excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills, good knowledge of the voluntary and community sector and a strong understanding of the issues linked to violence against women, related intersectional protected characteristics and the types of appropriate intervention and support.

We particularly welcome applications from Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) women candidates as the programme is focussed on organisations which are led by and for BAME communities.
