Ride for London
Celebrate the legacy for cycling created by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, and join us at Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 2018 on 29 July.
Set off from the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and cycle the 100 mile course of closed roads through the capital and Surrey countryside - enjoying the British scenery, iconic landmarks and cheering spectators every mile of the way.
We are now welcoming applications for riders. Get your friends and colleagues involved and create your own team:
- Pick your own team (teams of 5-8 people)
- Pick your team name
- Start fundraising
We ask each of our teams to raise £2,500 to support our work helping London’s community groups and charities.
Riding for LCF guarantees you a place in this spectacular race, and you also get the added reward that your fundraising will go towards our work in building healthier and happier communities across the capital.

Run for London
The Virgin Money London Marathon is the world’s largest annual fundraising event. In 2017, £61.5 million was raised for charity by marathon runners.
Whether you want a new challenge or you are a seasoned marathon runner looking to do more for your community this is your chance to show London what you’re made of.
We ask each of our runners to raise £2,000 to support our work helping London’s community groups and charities. The money you raise will help us carry out vital work transforming local communities across London.
We will support you from the moment you sign up to help you achieve this, giving you a fundraising pack, keeping in touch with you in the coming months and introducing you to our other runners.
So, why not be a part of it and support your local community project by running the streets of London in April 2019?
If you'd like to run with us in 2019, drop us a line to register your interest.
Got another fundraising idea?
If you have an idea to raise funds for community projects in London, you can set up your own fundraising page here. It might be a park run, a bake sale, a pub quiz or a sponsored sing-a-thon, every little helps!
