The Ellerdale Trust Grants Programme

The Ellerdale Trust Grant Programme is a new funding partnership between the Ellerdale Trust and The London Community Foundation. The programme will provide one year grants of between £5,000 and £20,000 to organisations who meet ALL of the following priorities:

  • Assist children to develop in their early years, mainly up to age 10 with a limit of age 18.
  • Deliver in one or more of these eight London boroughs:
    • Barking and Dagenham
    • Brent
    • Camden
    • Hounslow
    • Newham
    • Redbridge
    • Tower Hamlets
    • Westminster
  • Work with children that falls within one or more of these primary groupings:
    • Children who have been abused, either sexually, physically or by bullying.
    • Brain damaged children.
    • Terminally ill children.
    • Children requiring mobility equipment because of illness.
    • Holidays or breaks for carers and children living in one of the 8 listed boroughs.
    • The causes and relief of mental illness.
    • Children and their families suffering from life threatening illness or bereavement.
    • Children experiencing disadvantage because they live in areas with high levels of deprivation.

We are now taking expressions of interest from organisations interested in applying for this fund. If you would like to be considered for this fund please complete the short form linked below by 5pm on Thursday 18th December, providing an outline of your idea in no more than 300 words.

Before completing this form, please read the programme guidelines (linked below), including eligibility criteria for this programme. We will not consider expressions of interest from any organisation who does not meet ALL of London Community Foundation’s programme specific and core eligibility criteria and so it is important that you read the guidelines before completing your expression of interest.

We will let you know by early February 2026 if we are inviting your organisation to make a full grant application. If you have not heard from us by this date your expression of interest has not been successful.
