Why London?
Urmi has lived in London for much of her life, connecting with diverse and vibrant communities. She has observed the complex challenges facing the city and the differences made when local cohorts mobilise, working together for a common goal. The London Community Foundation is well placed to support Londoners, providing them with a platform to be seen, heard and influence their own decision making.

Urmi has a background in commercial finance within large publicly listed companies, private equity owned businesses and more recently Employee Ownership Trusts. Her sector experience includes media (all formats), information services, digital businesses, higher education and arts charities.
