Before starting at LCF, Victoria spent two years at The Queen’s Commonwealth Trust supporting young leaders across the Commonwealth. Victoria helped develop and launch the Trust’s sub-Saharan Africa funding programme, in addition to working across multiple dynamic partnerships.
Victoria is one of LCF’s Programme Managers. This means she manages a portfolio of funding programmes that support London’s community-led, grassroots organisations. She manages the application and assessment processes and reports on the impact the funding has made to people across the city. She's passionate about social equity and intersectional feminism.
We love London
Despite living in London for a few years now, Victoria is still beguiled by all that London has to offer. She particularly enjoys South London’s many Sunday markets, and the eclectic food markets scattered around the city.
Did you know…
One of her starkest memories of London dates back to 2010, when she hunkered down at Trafalgar Square with a friend to cheer on the cast of Harry Potter at the Deathly Hallows premier. Incidentally, Victoria ended up on BBC News a second time that week on account of accidentally finding herself amongst thousands of peaceful protesters en route to Buckingham Palace.
