Originally from the middle of Canada, Lana came to the UK in 2013 to do her MA in Applied Anthropology and Community Development. She then worked as a Fundraising Assistant for Generation Rent; an organisation which campaigns for secure, decent and affordable private rented homes in sustainable communities before joining LCF in the summer of 2015. She has previously lived and worked in New Zealand and Australia.
Lana is LCF’s Marketing, Communications and Donor Care Manager. This means that she is responsible for social media, website editing, content creation, our monthly ebulletins and fundraising events like the London Marathon. She helps to promote and share the great work taking places across the capital - from the small organisations we support making a big impact to philanthropists and companies working to support their communities.

We love London
Lana’s favourite (strange) thing to do in London is to go to the Whole Foods in Kensington. It makes for great people watching and fun food exploration! Sometimes she treats herself to some pre-packaged papaya whilst she’s there.
Did you know…
Lana was once an extra in a Bollywood film. She’s pretty sure that it never got released but we’re still on the hunt to find it.
