David joined LCF in July 2019 with 20 years' experience in the charitable, cultural and heritage sectors. As well as fundraising roles with Shelter and Home-Start UK, the Science Museum and the Royal Horticultural Society, he has worked on sponsorships for clients including Barclays, Sainsburys, the BBC and Colliers International. Most recently he was Development Director of Brooklands Museum, focusing on the STEM learning agenda to secure funding to restore a WWII Aircraft Hangar and a section of the Finishing Straight at the site of the world's first purpose-built motor racing circuit.
David is LCF's Director of Business Development and Communications, which means he works with funders and supporters to understand their interests, aims and objectives to ensure that their support is directed to fantastic causes and projects across London. He also makes sure we’re telling as many people as possible about our great work.
