Communications and Events Manager

Amy has spent the last six years working in marketing and communications, first as a translator, later as a project manager and recently as a communications manager for a Wandsworth-based environmental charity. Her move to LCF combined her two loves: language and community.

Role

Amy is the Communications and Events Manager, which means she is responsible for creating and managing all forms of internal and external communications across events, social media, the LCF website, reports and publications, newsletters, brand guidelines and more. She supports the aims of the wider Development and Communications team to craft and deliver on LCF’s strategic objectives, using her marketing and communications experience to showcase the tangible difference our funding makes to the lives of Londoners.

Amy is a keen environmentalist. As a volunteer member of an environmental community benefit society, she has a lot of useful energy-saving and eco tips, and she can tell you heaps about COP26.

We love London

Originally from Manchester, Amy moved to London in 2018. When COVID hit, she took up cycling as a new way of exploring the many gems London has to offer. She loves how easy and enjoyable it is to get around London on a bike, especially along the River Thames.
