The blowUP Media Community Fund was set up in early 2018 to support grassroots organisations that are active in Westminster and in Kensington & Chelsea to deliver projects that benefit the health and wellbeing of people in the area, particularly around air pollution and green spaces. The Fund aims to offer grants for core costs, to enable organisations to grow and build their capacity for years to come, or for specific projects that focus on health and wellbeing.
Priority will be given to projects covering one of the primary or secondary themes:
- Health and Wellbeing. This could include any of the following:
- Making the best use of open and green spaces
- Encouraging people into environmental action
- Improving local air quality and reducing pollution
- Environmental conservation
You do not need to meet both these primary and secondary themes to apply for funding.
Groups based in Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea are eligible to apply.
Groups can apply for grants of between £1,000 and £10,000.
