Further emergency payments for Grenfell families

The Evening Standard Dispossessed Fund - in collaboration with The London Community Foundation - has announced further emergency payments of £1,000 to each of the 158 surviving families of the Grenfell Tower fire, as well as another 26 families in and around Grenfell Walk who have been told they may never be able to return to their homes.

This is the second instalment of £1,000 payments made available from the Fund for families of Grenfell Tower. The first payment was made available from 20th June, with 127 families collecting. These payments can be picked up from the Rugby Portobello Trust and the National Zakat Foundation.

This brings the total amount made available to those affected by Grenfell Tower to £1.6 million.
