The role This is a new role for The London Community Foundation. You will be joining the team at an exciting time in our development. Working closely alongside the Chief Executive and four directors forming the Senior Management Team (SMT), you will play a key role supporting the SMT team with a variety of duties spanning finance, Trustee Board support, managing meetings and diaries and office administration. Given the nature of the role, professionalism, speed, accuracy, flexibility and discretion will be key. The ability to ‘muck in’, juggle varying priorities and work proactively will make you a much valued member of our team.

Community Panel Members

The role We are looking for experienced community representatives to join the Red Nose Day Evening Standard Dispossessed Fund (ESDF) Grants Panel and help represent the views of the voluntary and community sector (VCS) in London.

The Grants Panel is responsible for reviewing grant applications made to the Red Nose Day Evening Standard Dispossessed Fund and prioritising projects for funding. The Panel is key to ensuring that funding goes to those projects that will have the greatest impact on the local community.

A panel member’s role is to bring an understanding of particular issues whilst taking an overall view in order for objective recommendations to be made. Making grant recommendations is a collective experience for all panel members. At the meeting, you will be expected to contribute to the panel discussions, drawing on your experience to provide a voice for VCS organisations working in London.
