For Individuals & Families

If you want to make a difference in the city in which you live or work, we can help match your interests with needs on the ground.

For individuals and families, The London Community Foundation hosts a range of tax effective giving options that maximise the impact you can make with your gift whilst benefiting from the knowledge, reach and expertise of the Foundation. You may want to give across a broad range of causes, or perhaps there is an issue or geographic area that really interests you. Either way, we can help.

Options include:

  • Our Donor Advised Funds start at £50,000 and enable us to create a bespoke programme which matches needs on the ground with your interests.
  • Every size donation is welcome at The London Community Foundation and money given through givelondon.org.uk is a simple, easy and effective way for people to make smaller donations. Or if you want your donations to leverage even more money for local charities, then consider our Catalyst Fund.

  • Our Legacy Funds start at £150,000 and can be set up in your lifetime or through a gift in your will. Your Fund is invested and provides charitable activity year on year, ensuring that your original gift keeps on giving.

We say

"People don’t always realise how much of a difference they can make... it’s easy to think you’re a drop in the ocean but change happens through individual actions."

They say

"LCF has access to a wide range of groups struggling to make a difference in their local communities, often on very limited financial support. Most importantly for us, LCF assesses the charities and presents a range of options to us."
Simon and Lynn Dodds

"The London Community Foundation’s knowledge of and relationships with local community groups was both broad and deep, which gave us the opportunity to widen our own awareness of what goes on within our city."
